the latest in large-format inkjet printers and media
In these tough times for all families and businesses, we hope you are safe, healthy, and are finding ways to stay active and upbeat. Heck, we all could be pushin' up daisies, so staying at home with our families has a considerable upside.
Some businesses have been categorized as essential by Washington State. JVH falls into that category because we are a supplier of printers, ink, and media to major drug stores chains, city/county emergency management organizations, printing companies who do food packaging designs, VA hospitals, and more. Because of this, as well as being a home-based family business, JVH is fully operational here to fulfill our valued customers' needs.
New large-format printer onsite deliveries/installations are curtailed - but printers, plotter cutters, and heat presses can be readily shipped. It's business as usual for ink, media, and other standard supplies which we are well stocked with and are readily available for same-day shipment to all customers. Please do not hesitate to contact us for anything you may need.
IMPORTANT: If you are a small business or an employee of one, be sure your company is aware of the new Paycheck Protection Program. This program starts Friday, April 3 and employers can simply apply online through their bank's website. (We just applied to www.bankofamerica.com/SBResources and it took only 10 minutes to complete the JVH application.) In a nutshell, a company can borrow up to 2.5 times the sum of its employees monthly salaries - then at the end of June, have 100% of the debt forgiven, provided the employer continues to pay employees in full throughout this period. It is a vital timely program to help employers keep their valued employees, while helping the employees keep income coming in.
And most importantly . . . stay safe and healthy!
P.S. Our daffodils and cherry trees are in their full glory to enjoy - life does go on.
Supporting you remotely with Team Viewer While we may not be available in person, we can effectively support you over the phone in conjunction with Team Viewer where we can tap into your computer and show you firsthand how to adjust print settings, troubleshoot your printer and such. Also, both Epson and Canon technical folks have offered to be part of this support.
Please just let us know if you need a hand.
How to store your printer long-term In these unusual times, some digital printers may end up not be used for several months. With the summer break, schools may even have longer periods of inactivity. For a Canon printer and some Epson models, you want to leave the printer ON and let it go into Sleep Mode as it will perform preventative maintenance while in this stage. You may not have to do anything with your Epson Surecolor printer, but here is a link to some guidelines on how to store your Epson printer if you foresee extended periods of time of non-use..
We would love your opinion and feedback JVH has installed several thousand Epson, Canon, and other large-format printers. With this considerable field population, we are interested in finding out how well these printers have performed over the years - good, bad, or otherwise. The survey feedback will also help convey to printer manufacturers, based on users' experience, how they can
1) do a better job overall, 2) provide real world useful product new features,
3) improve reliability, and 4) enhance their customer service.
